Low-cost carrier AirAsia Philippines announced Thursday it will resume its flights between Manila and Davao on March 27th.
Promotional rates will be offered in the resumption of Manila-Davao segment, with seats selling at all-in-fare of P799 one-way. Promotion seats are available for booking until Feb. 1, 2015 with valid travel period between March 27, 2015 and March 26, 2016.
“Davao City is an important gateway to Mindanao. We are partnering with local government units and various stakeholders in the region to develop products and services to further boost tourism and promote Davao as a major tourist destination to local and foreign visitors,” said AirAsia Philippines’ chief executive Joy Cañeba.
In addition to the Manila-Davao segment, AirAsia also offers twice-a-day flights between Davao International Airport and Mactan Cebu International Airport.
The Davao-Manila route is also being served by PAL Express, Cebu Pacific and Tigerair Philippines.
