WITH a very high passing rate of 89.41 and having eight of its graduates landed on the top 10, San Pedro College (SPC) in Davao City has been ranked as the 8th top performing nursing school across the country, the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) reported Wednesday.
Based on the result of the December 2012 nursing licensure examinations (NLE) released Wednesday, 473 of the 529 total numbers of takers of SPC passed the exam.
Based on the exam results, almost nine out of 10 graduates of SPC passed the same exam.
Overall, a total of 16,908 passed the exams out of 49,066 examinees.
For the 500 SPC graduates who took the exam for the first time, 465 of them passed the exam, which translates to a very high 93 percent passing rate on its first-time takers, while 21 out of the 29 re-takers passed the same exams.
Those in the top 10 examinees from SPC are: Airen Tulawi Belarmino and Fritz D. Sustino at fifth place with 84.90; Maria Lourdes Isabelle L. Fernandez, Jinky Patron, and Christine C. Lua at 8th place with a score of 84.20; and at ninth place with a score of 84.00, Pamela Mae G. Cagape, Fernan Kristoffer M. Ocat, and Marie Angelique C. Go.
