RETAIL giant Primer Group of Companies is putting in more top international brands at Bauhaus, a multi-brand trendy shop at Abreeza of the Ayala Malls in Davao City, as it remains confident in the potential Davao City’s fashion market.
In fact, according to Riki Conwi, areas sales supervisor for Bauhaus/G-Star, the Davao store is doing well in terms of sales, making it the second highest in the country, next to Trinoma, also of the Ayala Malls, in Quezon City.
Bauhaus at Abreeza is the first outlet outside Metro Manila. It also has branches at Shangrila Plaza in Mandaluyong City and Alabang Town Square.
“Surprising talaga ang Abreeza. It’s really doing very good in terms of sales, a proof that Dabawenyos really go for the latest trends in fashion…and really have the capacity to pay,” he said. “Our Davao store has been consistent in its sales performance since we opened in November last year.”
He also said Bauhaus-Davao has continued to attract a wide range of clients given its extensive selection of hip, more attractive brands that are fit for everyday wear, travel and club wear.
“Basically, we have a mixed market, but it’s mostly the young professionals, the A and B segment of the market considering the price range of our merchandise. Talagang medyo expensive siya, but the good thing, we also have brands that are really very affordable,” Conwi said.
